Procrastination is a problem for most people – and for some individuals it becomes a way of life. We tend to put things off until we’re backed into a corner, and we’re staring at a deadline, and feeling super stressed. So what are the reasons for procrastinating?

Because conversations became texting, arguments became phone calls, feelings became subliminal messages online, sex became easy, the word “love” gets used out of context, insecurities have become your way of thinking, getting jealous became a habit, trust has been lost, cheating became an accident, leaving became the only option & being hurt became natural.

Procrastination is linked to poor work habits, feeling overwhelmed, aiming for perfection, and wanting to do something else instead. You can overcome procrastination by acknowledging that you are procrastinating, making a start on something, focus on ‘getting started’ instead of ‘thinking about finishing,’ breaking large tasks into smaller ones, and not beating yourself up.
